Portfolio

Over the past decade, we’ve worked across all corners of the UK circus ecology: as performers, producers, commissioners, venue programmers, tour bookers, artist mentors, and fundraisers.

We’ve produced 5 star reviewed theatre and outdoor tours, commissioned new work, run a 500 seater big top venue for 3 consecutive years at Shambala Festival, and designed and delivered community outreach, youth training programmes, and internship schemes.

Circus Programming

We were proud to programme and manage a 500 seater big top circus venue for 3 years running at Shambala Festival.
We programmed 3-4 days of contemporary circus shows of scale and high quality each year.

We offered training opportunities in male-dominated roles, which saw our venue become the first entirely run and managed by women (inclusive), non-binary people and queer people.

We’ve also programmed a late night series of cabarets for Nozstock Festival, ensuring diversity and representation on stage.

We began our circus programming journey for Maui Waui Festival; where we ran a small circus venue for 2 years running; programming children’s shows, workshops, and cabarets.

Circus Training Placements

We've offered training for emerging artists in production, aerial, and workshop facilitation.

We offered a 4 month placement for a young emerging artist to learn how to teach community circus, see new work, and produce a show. Supported by our team, she ran weekly circus workshops for children at St Paul’s Adventure Playground in Bristol. The programme culminated in a community cabaret featuring the young people who participated in workshops.

Community Programmes

We've worked with our community in Bristol; offering long term engagement in circus and burlesque.

The Self Love Club was a Burlesque troupe on a journey to self love through a long term programme of weekly sessions, culminating in a performance alongside a professional cast.

The programme was featured on BBC, highlighting positive mental health outcomes and increased community belonging.

We used to make shows too!

We curated, produced, and toured multiple circus theatre shows, cabarets, and community projects across the UK and Europe.

We built pop-up venues, including a week long take over of a gallery space transforming it into a space for circus performance, workshops and scratch nights. We can turn anything into a stage!

We began as aerial performers, performing in Bristol’s iconic nightlife venues: Lakota, Blue Mountain and Motion alongside artists such as Andy C and 808 State; evolved into DIY performance and eventually a full production house.
